Thanks to Universal Pictures Australia, we had the chance to see Despicable Me 2 before its Australian cinematic release. Here is our review of the film:

If you have viewed the first instalment of the film, you know that the main character Gru, voiced by (Steve Carell) once was a villain, shrinking the moon into the size of his palm. This time around he’s really focusing on his family, not just his little adorable yellow minions, but his three adopted girls, Margo (Miranda Cosgrove), Edith (Dana Gaier) and little Agnes (Elsie Fisher.) You can tell his still adjusting to his new life, but to help him forget about his devilish past, he decides to start developing delicious jellies and jams!

As the film continues, Gru gets recruited by an anti-villain league to capture a criminal mastermind. Lucy Wilde voiced by (Kristen Wiig) gets introduced in the film, she is the agent who brings Gru in. She’s enamoured with Gru from the start, having followed his criminal career. With some convincing, she gets to work right beside him. Much of the pairs comedy comes from their blossoming relationship as both agents and love interests. Their characters might be animated, but Steve and Kristen are far from animation with their performances in the film.

Now lets talk about my favourite little minions, they are completely insane in this sequel. If you thought they where insanely hilarious the first time you viewed them on screen in 2010, then let’s just say you won’t stop laughing every minute they decided to run ramped during the duration of the film.

Will Gru and Lucy capture the criminal mastermind? Could Gru and Lucy become soul-mates? Let’s not spoil too much for you!

Overall Despicable Me 2 is a hilarious animated comedy with flawless art direction. If you get to check it out in 3D it’s a real bonus, as the effects work perfectly on the big-screen. (Hint: stay till the credits start rolling the minions will put on a wild show).

RATING: 4.0 – 5.0!

Channing Tatum and his wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum, have introduced their new-born adorable daughter to the world!

The 33-year-old Magic Mike hunk and his actress wife welcomed baby Everly on May 31 in London. Channing posted a pic of himself and Jenna with their two-week-old princess on his Instagram account on Sunday – which happened to be Father’s Day!

“First Father’s Day with my girls,” he wrote in the caption, looking down at Everly holding her in his arms with his soul-mate right beside him. Jenna also shared the picture on her Facebook page, writing, “First Father’s Day with our lil angel!”

The couple announced that they were expecting back in December 2012. The couple met while filming Step Up in 2006 and had their wedding three years later.

Congrats, she is super cute!

A source confirmed to the New York Daily News that the 32-year-old and her partner Kanye West welcomed a baby girl yesterday morning at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Sources say, the little girl already has the Kardashian trademarks and is said to look like her famous mother.

A source told E!:  ”She has dark hair & looks just like Kim.”

Gossip website TMZ also reports that sources close to Kardashian have told them “baby and Kim are both in good health.”

Apparently Kanye West did not want to be in the delivery room during Kim’s labour, but sources say he was present during the birth. Points for West!

Congrats to the couple, we can’t wait to find out what this baby girls name is!

A massive crowd of fans gathered for hours waiting to get a chance to see the main man of the night in flesh. The premiere set up was completely well organised for all fans and members of the media. We have to say this was one of the most (epic) red carpet events we have ever attended!

At around 4:30pm, Brad walked the red carpet with Marc managing to greet as many fans as possible. From signatures to close up photo’s with the pair, lets just say they got it all covered.

We had the chance to chat with Director Marc Forster and Brad Pitt on the red carpet about the film, all thanks to Paramount Pictures Australia. Check out our exclusive interviews below!

World War Z will release in Australia on June 20th.

Simon Pegg, Nick Frost and Director Edgar Wright will be in Australia this July to celebrate the release of their eagerly-awaited new film THE WORLD’S END – the final chapter in the ‘Three Flavours Cornetto’ trilogy, which includes 2004’s breakout hit SHAUN OF THE DEAD and 2007’s cop-comedy HOT FUZZ.

Fans will have the opportunity to see the trio when they walk the red carpet at the film’s Australian Premiere on Tuesday July 16 at Melbourne Central. Pegg, Frost and Wright will then visit Sydney on Wednesday July 17.

THE WORLD’S END centres on five childhood friends who reunite after 20 years in an attempt to complete an epic pub crawl and reach the fabled pub, The World’s End. But finishing the pub crawl becomes the least of their worries when they realise the real struggle is for survival, not just theirs but mankind’s. THE WORLD’S END also stars THE HOBBIT’s Martin Freeman and JACK REACHER’s leading lady Rosamund Pike.
